why we’re different

Small, friendly, inclusive.

We’re a calm, community minded studio, in North Leamington Spa led by Sian, an experienced teacher who cares about offering inclusive classes for all. Here you’ll find a welcoming, environment and practices that suit your body and settle your mind. A place where you feel seen.

We offer yoga classes and workshops, with a sprinkling of Pilates and the odd mindful craft session – and anything else we think will make you feel good and give you the opportunity to connect to yourselves for a bit. Classes are affordable and are offered on a termly basis (saving money on the standard class price) with some pay as you go spaces. No monthly fees or membership required.

Sian Gulliver

Sian completed her teaching diploma through Triyoga’s 350 hour course (RYT200 BWY and Yoga Alliance accredited.) Since then she’s gone on to complete specialist trainings in Restorative Yoga, Yin, Menopause Yoga and Chair and Accessible Yoga. She is utterly passionate about offering inclusive classes that are welcoming. She teaches mindfully and carefully a range of yoga styles.

Group classes

You’ll find a weekly timetable of yoga and Pilates classes to suit different abilities and different needs.

Your yoga practice will depend on your mood, your body and what you feel like that day. Our classes are not a one size fits all deal. We teach to the students in front of us. Do ask us if you are not sure what you would like.

Workshops & Monthly Events

From yoga philosophy to yoga asana (poses) – as well as pranayama (breathwork) and wellness workshops. Designed to help you go a little deeper into your practice.

We also host monthly sound baths, family yoga and meditation sessions, with guest teachers coming in regularly to provide different skills you can learn and add to your wellness tool kit.

Retreats

Need a little more you time?

Immerse yourself in a yoga retreat. We offer half day and full day retreats at the studio or further afield, as well as the occasional weekend residential in beautiful locations in the UK.

Teacher Training Courses

Whether you already teach yoga or are looking to deepen your personal practice, a specialist yoga teacher training course could be life changing.

Our training course places are limited in size allowing individual time and space for learning and growth.

Private Tuition

Do you struggle to get to group classes or find they make you anxious? Are you a beginner looking to build confidence and knowledge?

Are you working with a specific goal like menopause or stress management, or managing an injury or anxiety? Perhaps you just want a practice tailored to exactly what you need that day?

We’re around on a reduced timetable for the summer.  There is a more relaxed approach generally so lots of pay as you go, drop in availability. 

There are some teacher holiday absences in July and August and we will let you know about these - but otherwise we’re here!

With @melissainglesyoga about to take a well deserved break, @isilerinmez has kindly offered to step in on a Saturday morning for the weeks Melissa is away. 

Starting this Saturday 18 July. 
Class time will be 09:30, rather than 10am start.

Outdoor swim and lounge anyone? On a day like today can’t think of anything better. Coming soon we’re hosting a relaxed couple of hours at a lovely outdoor pool, less than an hour’s drive away. 

There’s an optional (covered) yoga session with Sian but mainly this is an adult only event to swim and enjoy cooling off as we have private use of the facilities.  There’s also some bakes for you as well as we’ve just had our 5th birthday. 

When and where? 
Saturday 25 July 11:30-1:30pm 
Chippy Lido, Chipping Norton
Just £10 per person. 
Limited numbers to keep things comfy.

A gentle reminder that in our heatwave tool box are practical things like fans and cold flannels but also a range of yoga practices that cool and calm.

July 1, marks the day of our official opening, five years ago. 

A big thank you to everyone who’s been on the journey. Particularly those from the start @melissainglesyoga @justbreathe.pilates (those not on the gram including Katrena) and all the teachers and self employed people who’ve supported the space over the years. 

To everyone who’s taken a class, workshop or retreat day - you’ve helped make the studio what it is and we all appreciate you so much. 

This journey is not always easy but sometimes it chooses you.

  • Heatwave notes 

This week is a hot one. We will keep monitoring the temps and inform of any changes. However, in the studio it is pretty cool, particularly for evening classes, as the sun passes the window in the morning. We also have fans and enable a cooler flow of air with the doors to the props room wide open. 

In yoga classes expect stiller, stretchy classes with more focus on the other limbs of yoga - breath and meditation rather than lots of dynamic movement. 

Pilates practices will also be mindful of the soaring temps with just enough as we don’t want anyone feeling like a sweaty mess. 

A reminder for those who like to feel like they’ve worked out - Chloe is here tomorrow at 7am before the heat gets in the day for her Barre and Functional Fitness class. You will feel the burn.  Or Sian’s here Friday 7am too - for a flow yoga class. 

Please remember to stay hydrated all day and bring water to all classes. 

If you are booked in and at all worried about coming out in the heat or are feeling particularly affected by the temperatures -  caution is always advised. Heat can creep up on you. Just drop us a note to let us know.
  • Calling all teachers & tired people. 

Sunday Restorative Yoga classes are now paused until September due to events and holidays taking up time - however in July @siangulliveryoga is bringing a three hour special Summer Rest on Sunday 19 July. 

It’s end of the school term so handy for any frazzled teachers (or students) or anyone feeling called by a soothing, stress relieving, deeply restful class. 

The Tuesday weekly Restorative Yoga class continues 6pm. Just an hour this one. Sorry about that.
